FAQ - Gelatin Remover
How long does it take to work?
WAVEEE™ Gelatin Remover works at room temperature and breaks down hardened gelatin structure in 4-6 minutes. It means faster release from hair, less or no mechanical pulling, and significantly shorter shower time.
Why not just use ton of hot water to remove like everyone else?
Hot water only softens gelatin, doesn't fully break it down, often leading to longer showers. At competitions, where normally 3-4 athletes share one shower, long showers means less rest and recovery.WAVEEE™ Gelatin Remover works at room temperature, helping reduce shower time, minimize excessive heat exposure on our athletes' hair which is already stressed from frequent contacts with heavily treated pool water.
Does it work on wet gelatin?
WAVEEE™ Gelatin Remover is designed to actively break down the gelatin structure, not just soften it. While the effect on wet gelatin may look less dramatic than on dry hardened gelatin, the performance difference is still there: cleaner removal, less residue, and less damage from prolonged high temperature washing.
Is it safe for younger swimmers?
WAVEEE™ products are formulated for external hair use and developed specifically for the needs of trained artistic swimmers. Suitable for athletes when used as directed.Avoid contact with eyes and discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Will it remove heavy competition build-up?
Yes. WAVEEE™ Gelatin Remover is designed to break down even heavily hardened Knox after competitions.For extreme buildup, a second application may be used.
